Ann0nip started as a teenage forum nickname. “Anon,” from Anonymous culture — that activist streak felt pretty cool at the time. I added an extra N and a zero (leet speak was the usual thing for hackers and gamers), then “IP” because fifteen-year-old me thought it looked cool.

There's more buried in it than I planned: it reads like “anonymous IP,” or “IP anónima” in Spanish. And in the middle sits “0N” — like the power button on a PC. Booting something up. Which is basically what this whole thing is.

For everything I publish, the bar is the same: obvious to use, fast to start, honest about what it does. Some I give away. Others I charge for — my landlord doesn't accept GitHub PRs as rent.
